Plant-Based Pioneer, Heura, Partners With BOSH! To Launch Exclusive Chorizo Burger Collab

Chorizo Burger will be the brand’s first product launch onto Ocado

Europe’s fastest-growing plant-based meat company, Heura, has partnered with beloved UK-based food influencers and cookbook authors, BOSH!, to launch an exclusive product for its premier onto Ocado in early this Spring.

Chorizo Burger is the red-hot marriage between a versatile burger patty and the bold, Mediterranean flavour of chorizo. The collaboration will elevate the plant-based world by bringing together Heura’s pillars of healthy, short labels; undeniably tasty products and mass availability. The launch onto Ocado will also take Heura one step closer to its mission of removing animals from the food system.

Developed in partnership with BOSH!, the Chorizo Burger is a unique product created to stoke creativity in the kitchen, encourage more people to cook from scratch and to fall in love with the plant-based movement. Endlessly adaptable, the Chorizo Burger can be simply served as is; broken up into smaller chunks to provide flavour bombs throughout a dish; re-shaped into meatballs, kebabs and sliders or sauteed as bases for ragouts and casseroles. The culinary possibilities are endless.

The news of Heura’s launch on to Ocado comes shortly after it announced it had more than doubled the number of households that consume Heura vs. last year, increasing their worldwide POS by 333%. Heura’s rapid expansion comes at a time where the plant-based sector as a whole is expected to reach a staggering $480.43 billion globally by 2024, according to a recent report from BIS research.
