Scottish Premiere of PTSD Awareness Film Added to Stirling SpiritFEST

Stirling Distillery will host the Scottish premiere of the short film “Broken Glass – A fragile mind” on Friday 4th November as part of Stirling SpiritFEST. The film has been produced by not-for-profit social enterprise PTSD999 to raise awareness of PTSD within the emergency services and follows Tom (Graham Cole OBE) a retired Police Officer, coming to terms with his undiagnosed condition. Cole – known for his role as PC Tony Stamp in the ITV police drama The Bill – will attend the premiere at the distillery on Friday 4th November.

Stirling Distillery is one of the key sponsors of the film thanks to the money raised from their Gin Blue Line gin. The gin was created in recognition of over 200 years of British policing. 20% of profits are donated to support officers, both past and present, who suffer with PTSD from walking the thin blue line. A complimentary Gin Blue Line gin and tonic and nibbles will be offered to guests on arrival and the distillery bar will be open serving a variety of drinks.

Registration for this free event must be completed by Friday 28th October via the following link: Broken Glass: A Fragile Mind Tickets, Fri 4 Nov 2022 at 19:00 | Eventbrite

The film will be available for streaming from Monday 10th November.

Mr Cole will also be pouring guests measures of Gin Blue Line at the Stirling Gin Festival the following day, Saturday 5th November. The Gin Festival, now in its 8th year, is split into two sessions; 12:15pm – 3:45pm and 4:30pm – 8:00pm at the Golden Lion Hotel in central Stirling.
